    Founder, Managing Director

    The founder of Ladderup Group, Sunil is a well-known investment banker with over 20 years of experience. He is a Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI) and has served as the Chairman of Western India Regional Council of ICAI.

    Sunil brings with him a deep understanding of the mid market space and has extensive relationships with business promoters, private equity investors, senior banking executives and regulatory agencies. Sunil leads from the front and is a recognized speaker in various conferences and seminars on Private Equity, M&A and Venture Funding.

    From the advisory as well as the implementation standpoint, his technical expertise in deal negotiation, structuring and execution combined with his deep understanding of the domestic and international business environment is pivotal.

  • Mangala Prabhu


    Experienced banking professional with 38 years of experience working at Union Bank of India (Nov 1976 - Apr 2015) across multiple roles spanning corporate credit, foreign exchange, HR and branch banking. Instrumental in formation of business restructuring process of verticalisation of entire credit portfolio of the bank along with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).Led the Large corporate credit portfolio as General Manager in Union Bank of India in Mumbai for 3 years. She has extensive experience in entire value chain of large value credit proposals.

  • Saurabh Sarayan


    Mr. Saurabh Sarayan is a CFA (US), MBA (Finance) and CAIIB by qualification. He is a career-banker, and has over 15 years experience in banking. He was involved primarily in to project finance, investment banking and risk management. Prior to joining Ladderup, he was associated for more than a decade with YES Bank as Group Executive Vice President and Regional Business Leader – West, Commercial Banking. Prior to YES Bank, he served in various capacities at ING Vysya Bank, as also, had a stint with Accenture in domain consulting, involving leading a consulting project with a Fortune 500 US based client. He has played a significant role in building up YES Bank’s mid-market franchise in Western India, and worked intimately with more than 800 mid-sized corporates across industry segments.
